I'll be posting more about the upgrade process, but when you get the 2010 bits, be sure to already have SQL Server 2008 Cumulative Update 2 installed whether it's a new or upgraded install, but especially an upgrade. It kind of wrecked my upgrade when I had to re-start the config wizard after applying CU2.
